The Power Of Recovering Mental Health + Hiking The Good Hike

Episode Summary

Jesse Cody was “successful” in life, and completely miserable. When a milestone birthday brought him that clarity, he decided to find himself – in nature. Nearly 8,000 miles later, he’s living with a newfound clarity of purpose and raising awareness of mental health.

Episode Notes

Instead of celebrating his 40th birthday, Jesse Cody found himself surrounded by friends, deeply depressed and suicidal. This was the first step in what would become a monumental journey in reckoning with his mental health, taking action to resolve narcissistic behavior, and find passion and purpose in his life. His first assignment: Hike the Appalachian Trail. Thus, his passion for hiking, deep love and respect for nature, and purpose in shining a light on mental health was discovered.
